I knew the Wirecutter did a special on standing desks, but the health information was crazy. Take more walking breaks, and convert to standing desks! (Or for me, work on your knees!)
I’d still hedge the stats a bit—people who were standing probably made other health-conscious decisions as well—but it certainly would have a noticeable effect.
UPDATE: One commenter’s solution is to use small coffee tables. That’s probably the cheapest and best-temporary-solution I’ve heard of!
